Bienvenue!

Bienvenue!

Welcome to a little space for musings about food and wine, travel, photography and hopefully, a way to capture our ephemeral life in Paris. It's also a travelogue for my husband and me as we begin an amazing journey in married life that, at this moment, has taken us from the San Francisco Bay Area to Paris!

The first full day in Paris -- Monday, October 10 -- was a lovely day! I walked about 11 miles, touring my old neighborhood in the 6th Arrondissement, and enjoying the Jardin de Luxembourg, the Seine and the Champs-Elyseés. Sadly, Jane did not accompany me. She suffered the indignity of traveling à la Mother Hubbard, and was still in the shoetcase! After such a long walk, I had to remind myself that we'll be here for a while, and I don't have to see everything in one day! But, it was nice to try...
